New Car update

January 22, 2019 0 By Andrew

So last summer I bought myself a cheap car from the local auction house. Leaving my job to run my own business meant that I was handing back the company car and to help keep the costs down in the first year I didn’t want to buy another new one..

It served me well, but well to be honest had done 51k miles, had no idea if it had ever been serviced and was prob due a cam belt change…

On top of that, the turbo oil leak, which had been there from day one, was getting slightly more oily-burny-smelly when ever I was sat in traffic…

Anyway, long story short, just over a year into running the business and things are going well. (not so well I want to spend money on a new new car again) but was able to swap in the old Vauxhall Oil burning diesel for a 3 year old Renault Zoe , all electric car…

The mileage I do these days, popping to the shops, visiting family or going to a radio meeting is never very much. so I don’t need to worry about range, even though the range of new EV’s is pushing through 200 miles on a charge!

Anyway, had it 2 days, loving it already! full review coming soon but just seen a tweet that shows the Renault Zoe is What Car of the Year 2019 best electric car under £30k!
